Laughter Makes good Migraine Medicine Too!
“Never take life too seriously; no one gets out alive anyways”

It seems to me that without fail whenever I have had a really bad day whether it be full of minor annoyances like bills and whining kids or more serious frustrations like a migraine or whining kids I wind up at the end of the day on the couch with my husband inevitably laughing at something we are both to grown up to laugh about. Nothing in my big bad day was so strong it could take who I am or my sense of humor away from me.
I would like to present my laughter list. Of course sense of humors vary so all these may not work for everyone but one or two have got to strike the right cord or funny bone and I hope you get a belly laugh out of them.
Laughter List
1) Buy a harmonica and try to play it really well.
2) Try something you have not done for at least ten years. Examples: Cart wheels, skinny dipping, making out at the movies (I know this should not be funny but if you have been married long enough it just is), pitch a tent in the living room.
3) Turn the T.V. off and tell stories by flashlight only. I don’t care if your 65 my mom did it last week and it was hysterical.
4) Play UNO and try to explain why it is fun to each other.
5) 80’s movie night. Classic movies that had you laughing then will get you going today.
Don’t wait too long to find something to laugh at. You deserve it. Your friend,
Geri
